Biography
Being given a Box Brownie camera as a child gave me the love of photography.Unable to pursue this love until later in life, it has now become my passion.
Our garden is my other love so it was a natural progression that I started out my photography in this beautiful world of floral photography.
Flowers are a great fascination as there is always something to photograph. When shooting in close or cropping in one is able to find another realm in a flower which I find very exciting.
Stamen, pollen, colours and pattern take on a new dimension.
I prefer to do most of my photography in camera but sometimes a little enhancement in the computer is required.
The highlight of my career to date would be receiving a Gold Medal from the North Shore National Salon of Photography for the image Agapanthus which is on my website and gaining my LPSNZ from the Photographic Society of New Zealand
